Position: Construction Estimator (Senior)
Salary: €115,000 - €125,000 per annum
Sector: Construction Estimator | Dublin & Leinster
Package: €115-125k, Bonus, Car, Pension & Benefits
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and collating accurate, detailed, and timely tenders based on drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and other information to secure profitable work orders.
Duties:
- Preparing and collating accurate, detailed, and timely tenders based on drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and other information to secure profitable work orders.
- Sourcing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Analysing information for ambiguity, risk, and qualification, and seeking clarification where necessary.
- Assisting in the ongoing development of systems and procedures used in tendering.
- Keeping up to date with contractual changes and other developments in the construction industry.
- Working both in a team and on their own initiative.
- Utilizing excellent IT skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and a QS/Estimating or related package.
Requirements:
Candidates should have several years of experience in an estimating role in a contracting or a specialist contracting background together with a relevant third-level qualification.
