Your Role: As a Construction/Commercial Lawyer, you'll play a pivotal role in: Contract Management: Overseeing, reviewing, and negotiating key contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Litigation and Claims: Handling legal disputes and claims efficiently. Framework Agreements: Developing and managing strategic agreements with subcontractors. External Counsel: Collaborating with legal experts across various jurisdictions. Legal Awareness: Educating business and project teams on contractual matters. Corporate Law: Supporting the Head of Legal on diverse legal issues, including corporate, data protection, compliance, and employment law. Team Development: Contributing to the growth and visibility of the legal team. Ideal Candidate: Construction Law Expertise: 1-4 years of experience in construction law, ideally with a mix of contentious and non-contentious work. Communication Skills: Effective communication with both legal and non-legal colleagues. Self-Motivation: A proactive and results-oriented approach.
