My client, a tier 1 construction company, is seeking a Construction Planner based in Mullingar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather project requirements and update schedules accordingly. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose solutions to keep projects on track. Prepare and present regular schedule reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, changes, and potential issues. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources. Analyze project data and performance metrics to optimize scheduling processes and improve efficiency. Assist in the preparation of project bids by providing accurate scheduling estimates and timelines. Ensure all planning activities comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols. Requirements: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in construction planning and scheduling with a Main Contractor Proficiency in scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and industry best practices.
