Job Description
Lead a project from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient completion within budget and with minimal disruption. Coordinate communication amongst stakeholders, manage project risks and opportunities, and provide expertise to key stakeholders. The project scope may vary from small to large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate communication amongst all stakeholders
- Support the senior team in preparing early business case information for new projects
- Manage project schedules and timelines
- Establish and manage budgets
- Track project progress and corrective actions
- Regular site inspections to confirm plans and specifications are adhered to
- Coordinate requirements in relation to Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)
- Manage the overall equipment schedule & schedule coordination between contractor scope and internal commissioning of equipment
- Coordinate risk assessments
- Deliver high quality projects on time, to the right scope, and on budget
Requirements & Skills:
- B.Sc. in Engineering, construction management, building science or relevant field or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification will be an advantage
- Proven experience as construction project manager
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with budget management
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
