Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality anaesthetic care for elective and emergency surgeries
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and anaesthesia technicians
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other departments to optimize patient outcomes
- Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in continuous professional development, research, and teaching opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
- Completion of Specialist Training in Anaesthesiology and possession of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of post-registration experience in Anaesthesiology
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- A strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Experience in regional anaesthesia, pain management, and intensive care is an advantage
Salary: €220,000.0 - €260,000.0 per year
