Job Description

Diagnose and treat children and adolescents with cancer in Ireland, delivering comprehensive care through robust clinically governed programmes and patient pathways.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Providing diagnosis and treatment for solid tumors and Haematological malignancies

  • Working collaboratively with other CCLG centres in MDT discussions

  • Delivering treatment according to internationally recognised best practice and international treatment protocols

  • Enrolling patients in Clinical Trials and managing robust clinically governed programmes


Eligible candidates must have:



  • Registration as a specialist in Haematology (clinical and laboratory) with the Medical Council in Ireland

  • One year documented postgraduate evidence of training and/or experience in paediatric haematology
