Job Description

Beaumont Hospital, a large academic teaching hospital 5km north of Dublin City centre, provides emergency and acute care services across 54 medical specialties to a local community of 290,000 people.

The hospital is a designated Cancer Centre and regional treatment centre for Ear, Nose & Throat, and Gastroenterology, with national referral centres for Neurosurgery, Neurology, Renal Transplantation, and Cochlear Implantation.

With a workforce of 4,500 staff and 1058 beds, Beaumont Hospital is the principal teaching hospital for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and enjoys close links with Dublin City University and other academic institutions.

The hospital provides a range of services, including medical and surgical inpatient care, day-care, outpatient, physiotherapy, radiology, and a community nursing unit.

Applications are invited for a Consultant Nephrologist & General Physician on a Public Only Consultants' Contract 2023 to HSE Dublin and North East Region by Beaumont Hospital, Connolly Hospital, and RCSI.

Applicants must be registered in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners in the specialty of nephrology and general (internal) medicine.
