Job Description
As a Consultant for New Business/onboarding in the Alternatives team, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the successful onboarding of new Private Equity and Real Estate funds and transitions
- Setting up and overlaying fund accounting platforms, Yardi and Investran, for new fund setups
- Collecting pertinent client information to ensure accurate account set-up, onboarding, reporting requirements of new funds and transitions
- Liaising with BPA to ensure templates are fit for purpose for Private Equity Fund structures and allocation rules
- Assisting with the collation of quarterly reporting of fund data to the Finance team and other internal teams
- Supporting the Sales team on new prospects and assisting in the analysis of new business opportunities
- Participating in the sales process, identifying prospect and client needs and assisting in crafting delivery plans
- Participating in due diligence calls and contributing to the RFP process of prospects
Requirements
- Holds or is studying for a recognized Professional Accounting Qualification
- Working knowledge of Fund administration as it relates to Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Transfer Agency
- Knowledge of or willingness to quickly gain knowledge of Private Equity Fund Administration and Real Estate Fund Administration
- Demonstrates commitment to producing high-quality work and to timeframes required
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Word
