DCC Vital (trading in Ireland as Fannin Limited) is the leading player in sales, marketing and distribution of medical devices and consumables in Ireland. Our broad range of medical devices encompasses areas such as critical care, woundcare, urology, surgical and medical consumables, equipment, rehab and orthopaedics. The Contracts & Tenders Specialist will manage the administrative, technical and commercial aspects of the tendering and contract process, ensuring the production of quality submissions, tailored to the requirements of individual clients and producing the best possible bid for Fannin Limited. Further, this role will lead to the efficient and compliant execution of all tendering activities in accordance with relevant procurement standards and regulations, then tracking their status and execution ensuring alignment to strict project deadlines. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Manage our end-to-end tender processes and Request for Proposals (RFPs) Proactively manage the tender from start to finish, using a project management approach, in collaboration with the field based commercial organisation, business support, operations, quality, regulatory, finance and marketing. Follow the SOP process. Work with relevant commercial leads to ensure all prices are complete and authorised. Develop and maintain the tender library and contract resources to bring greater efficiency and rigor to the tender and contract authoring process. Provision of insight and guidance on tender response strategies. Work closely with other relevant internal business partners to evolve a value proposition which demonstrates all current value offerings. Produce tender summaries for use by internal teams. Provide commercial teams with effective pricing analysis to support business critical decisions. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: University degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Economics, Systems and or Finance preferred. Solid experience in Tendering, Contracting, Analytics, and Project Management within Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals is preferred. Solid understanding of healthcare market dynamics. High learning agility. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment where collaboration is needed is strongly preferred. Ability to interact with and influence senior leadership teams required. Strong analytical problem-solving and process improvement skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across functional areas to deliver results. Demonstrated expertise in applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel is required.
