Job Description
The Contracts Facilitator will act as a liaison between Aughinish and Contractors to ensure a safe and high-quality work environment.
- Fulfil duties of Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) on site
- Preview works with Project Engineer/Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP)
- Review risk assessments (RAMS) and construction stage health and safety plans (CHSP)
- Coordinate activities to provide a safe place of work for contractors
- Manage Subcontractor performance on site and escalate issues to the project team
- Conduct daily briefings with all subcontractor supervisors
- Review work progress and certify progress payments
- Assist with the completion of scopes of work to a high-quality standard
Flexibility is required as other duties outside those described above may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Time served craftsperson and/or relevant third-level qualification
- Good broad knowledge of construction regulations/site safety
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
