Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a dynamic team in the timber frame construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in construction, including knowledge of quality control processes and health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of various construction sites across Ireland. Uphold high standards of quality throughout the installation process to ensure client satisfaction. Record and address any issues that arise on-site, contributing to the overall quality assurance and certification efforts. Oversee variations and day works, ensuring compliance with company procedures. Lead weekly toolbox talks and coordinate tasks with site teams to promote a culture of safety and efficiency. Act as the primary liaison between the site, design, and manufacturing teams. Keep accurate site diaries and photographic records to assist with project documentation. Maintain detailed records of meetings and communication with site personnel and clients. Develop and share realistic project schedules and plans with design and production teams. Champion health and safety practices on-site, actively engaging with teams to meet requirements. Promote efficiency and consistency in reporting and operational practices across all projects. Desired Qualifications: A trade or building qualification is advantageous. Previous experience in the timber frame industry is beneficial but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. A full clean drivers license (company vehicle provided). Relevant construction experience is preferred.
