Contracts Manager sought for leading Irish Contractor in Cork City, overseeing large-scale construction projects with emphasis on quality, safety, and budget control.
Our client, a renowned Irish Contractor, is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of projects in Cork City. With a strong focus on timely completion, quality, safety, and budget control, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of projects from tender stage to handover.
- Manage projects from tender stage through to construction and handover.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, working closely with the commercial manager to make on-site commercial decisions.
- Provide leadership to the project construction team, ensuring works are carried out to the required quality, Health & Safety, and environmental standards.
- Develop the Project Execution Plan, including Contracting Strategy, Programme, Budget, and risks mitigation plan.
- Oversee the daily operation of sites and manage a large construction team.
- Communicate effectively with both client and design team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role on large-scale buildings/civils projects.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager running large-scale projects.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Package:
Salary €90k - €110 K, negotiable dependent on experience.
