Job Description
Manage large-scale residential and commercial projects, oversee contract-related activities, lead project teams, and ensure delivery according to contract requirements and client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage all contract-related activities
- Lead project teams to ensure delivery according to contract requirements and client expectations
- Coordinate with project management team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient execution
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and provide regular project updates to senior management
- Negotiate and manage variations, claims, and contract disputes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Implement best practices in contract management
Requirements include:
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Contracts Manager role, preferably within a main contractor environment
- Proven track record managing large-scale residential and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts and legislation
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in construction management software and contract management tools
