permanent contracts manager job in cork city, ireland, with a leading irish contractor undertaking projects across various sectors.
job requirements:
- degree in engineering/construction related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role on large scale buildings/civils projects.
- proven experience as a project manager running large scale projects.
- excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
job responsibilities:
- manage projects from tender stage through to construction and handover.
- be the point of contact for the client, responsible for engaging with the client in conjunction with the commercial manager for on-site commercial decisions.
- provide leadership to the project construction team to ensure works are carried out to the required quality, health & safety and environmental standards.
- prepare the project execution plan including contracting strategy, programme, budget and risks mitigation plan.
- manage the daily operation of sites and oversee a large construction team.
- communicate effectively with both client and design team.
package: salary €90k - €110k and negotiable dependent on experience.
