Projects include national infrastructure, 'green & brown-field' site conversions, retail distribution centers, logistical parks & high-density residential developments. duties include business development, providing technical & commercial guidance, overseeing projects & representing at civil engineering seminars. requirements: third level qualification in civil engineering, several years of experience in a construction/civil engineering environment, strong understanding of design from first principles & knowledge of management, procurement & ground investigations. draw on construction & civil engineering networks to implement a business development strategy nationally.
- third level qualification in civil engineering or similar
- several years' experience in a construction/civil engineering environment
- strong understanding of design from first principles including ground improvement, foundation behavior, retaining structures & slope stability assessments
- knowledge of management, procurement, supervision & interpretation of ground investigations
- lead business development and promote the company's engineering solutions
- provide technical and commercial guidance to engineers and site staff
- oversee projects and ensure safe and efficient delivery
- represent and contribute at civil engineering and technical seminars
