POSITION: Contracts Manager (HVAC / Mechanical)LOCATION: MidlandsSALARY: Negotiable DOEOur Well Established Client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager. Responsible for delivering all aspects of projects under his or her control from planning through implementation to final account stage.Responsibilities:Management of QEHS on all sitesManagement of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foremen, Site staffManaging relationships with Contractors, Subcontractors, Consultants, Clients, End CustomersProblem solving and decision making in collaboration with management on site mattersPlanning of resources, labour, materials and subcontractorsManagement of materials and supplies on site in a safe and secure mannerDelivering projects on program and within P&L budgetsLiaising with design teamMonitoring progress on siteMaintaining site documentation in an orderly and accurate mannerApproving all Final Account Claims including all variationsResponsibility for all projectsHolding regular meetings with the management team to discuss and monitor progress of projectsReviewing all minutes of project meetings and addressing all issues arisingSubmitting weekly status reports to the management teamAttending monthly management meetingsRequirements:2+ years' experience in CM roleQualification or Equivalent in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or similar disciplineHVAC or mechanical experienceNote: Due to the urgency of this vacancy, it is not possible for our client at this time to consider anyone without the appropriate work permits, visas or sponsorships already in place.
