Job Description
A Contracts Manager is required to oversee numerous projects in urban and rural environments, with a focus on commercial acumen and stakeholder relationships.
This is a full-time position based in Portlaoise, working on projects for ESB and Irish Water. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on commercial viability and stakeholder satisfaction
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and third-party providers
• Reviewing and detailing project costs, claims, and narratives
• Collaborating with designers and engineers to develop efficient and effective designs
• Preparing and communicating project reports and updates
• Leading and managing a team of professionals to achieve project goals
• Coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including staff, departments, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Requirements:
• Full clean driving license
• Relevant qualification desirable
• Experience with UK or Irish Water Standards, ESB frameworks, and civil engineering projects
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy
