Contracts Manager Salary: €80k – 110k Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven track record in the construction industry? Our client, a leading electrical and engineering company, is seeking a talented professional to join their team in Co. Waterford. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management, from negotiation to execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with legal requirements. The Crewit team is looking forward to receiving your CV. Responsibilities: Contract Management: Oversee and manage all contracts related to the company’s construction projects. Ensure all contracts are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Manage contract disputes and ensure resolutions are in line with company policies. Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers to ensure contract deliverables align with project timelines and budgets. Monitor contract performance and ensure that all terms and conditions are met. Provide regular updates to senior management on contract status and project progress. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to contracts and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure that all contractual obligations are understood and communicated to relevant stakeholders. Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts and related documentation. Budgeting and Cost Control: Work closely with the finance department to monitor contract costs and ensure projects stay within budget. Approve invoices and payments related to contracts. Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients on contract-related matters. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all contracts comply with local, regional, and national regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal changes affecting contracts. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of contract administrators or support staff. Provide training and support to team members to ensure high performance. Requirements: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry, preferably in electrical engineering projects. Proven track record of managing complex contracts and large-scale projects. Skills and Competencies: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent understanding of contract law and legal requirements. Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) or similar are preferred. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as FIDIC or NEC3, is advantageous. Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. High level of integrity and ethical standards. Location: Co.
