We are looking for a Controls Specialistto join our team in Dublin.
This individual willbe responsible forreviewing controls in place for Customer Experience, ensuring they are working and that the teamsare adhering to them.
The position is based on site in our Cherrywood office, with an opportunity tobenefitfrom Avivas smart working arrangements which offers a mix of home and office working.
While this role is in the greater Dublin area, it would suit those with customer service skills living in Wicklow/Kildare/north Wexford area also.

Develop a deep understanding of i Care and act as a subject matter expert for use ofi CAREin their area, including supporting team members in their use of the system Review, develop and embed good risk management practise across the business areas in line with the Risk Management Framework Support team members in preparing for RCSA workshops, including ensuring compliance with relevant Business Standards Support team with risk events and Issues (particularly RCA and Lessons Learned) Supporting team when assessing controls and when Group 2 LOD are testing controls.
Ensure the business areas have sufficient knowledge of the risk management requirements toidentify, measure, manage,monitor,and report on their risks Being the voice of Risk in their represented Business area and driving a culture of Risk management in their areas.
Point of contact for CE for Outsourcing, Operational Resilience and Data Governancewith support from Outsourcing, Operational Resilience and Data Governance specialists.
Support team with Errorsparticularly RCA and Lessons Learned Roll out Regular training with the CE department (at least annually) Review all errors logged within 2 weeks to ensure detailed RCA included Support and challenge teams when progressing errors QA 10% of errors closed and feedback to be given to the team.
Annual review of Error Framework Liaise with team members to ensure errors logged are completed withinappropriate timeframeand Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions are sufficient.
Liaising with ALPIGovernance Risk and Control teamand attending Risk Event Meetings Skills& Experience: Knowledge of Risk management Understanding of what makes a good Root Cause Analysis Experience in Insurance/Financial services is preferable Strong verbalandwritten communication skills Ability to influence peers What will you get for this role?
