Overview: Our client is a global leader in the healthcare/pharma space and are expanding their operations in 2024. They are currently going through a massive expansion on their site in Donegal. The facility is a center for world-class engineering, quality, medical device manufacturing, and other science-based professionals to produce life-changing technologies that enable people with diabetes to live the best and fullest lives they can. With this site expansion, we are looking to recruit a Controls Engineer for their growing team. The role of the Controls Engineer will be to support the site expansion project. This will involve participating in the design, build, and installation of new equipment and technologies to the manufacturing operation. Responsibilities: Create and lead PLC based projects Provide PLC support to Production to achieve OEE targets Generate, execute, and support validation protocols, trials/studies and create associated reports for equipment, test methods, processes, and materials. Identification of opportunities for new technology and driving continuous improvement. Lead and contribute to process improvement projects. Perform and analyze data, evaluate results, form conclusions, and contribute to design, process, or document improvements. Experience and Qualifications: Recognized Qualification in one or more of the following areas: Electrical, Electronic, Controls, Automation, or Vision.
