About the Role
- Develop and maintain complex control systems for AWS data centers, ensuring high standards of safety, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate control systems.
- Perform in-depth root cause analysis of current AWS developed mechanical automation systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, IO lists, and parts BOMs.
Key Responsibilities
- PLC programming and technical writing tasks.
- Electrical schematic interpretation to IO lists.
- Parts BOM creation.
- Full system development.
- Scaling system design (operational performance & scalability).
- OT networking.
- OS configuration.
- Operational excellence.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, Power Shell, Ruby.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in PLC development leveraging IEC-61131 Structured Text and Ladder Logic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power Shell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
- 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience.
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
