About the Role

  • Develop and maintain complex control systems for AWS data centers, ensuring high standards of safety, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate control systems.
  • Perform in-depth root cause analysis of current AWS developed mechanical automation systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, IO lists, and parts BOMs.

Key Responsibilities

  • PLC programming and technical writing tasks.
  • Electrical schematic interpretation to IO lists.
  • Parts BOM creation.
  • Full system development.
  • Scaling system design (operational performance & scalability).
  • OT networking.
  • OS configuration.
  • Operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, Power Shell, Ruby.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in PLC development leveraging IEC-61131 Structured Text and Ladder Logic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power Shell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
  • 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
