Commercial & Conveyancing Solicitor (Limerick OR Wicklow) - Summary: Experienced Solicitor sought to handle commercial, conveyancing, property, energy, and land-related transactions, providing legal services to support the Land Solutions strategy. As a Conveyancing Solicitor within the Commercial Team, you will be responsible for handling commercial, conveyancing, property, energy, and land-related transactions, as well as providing general legal services to support and implement the Land Solutions strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** • Processing property acquisitions, sales, and transfers of land and property transactions. • Providing timely and accurate legal advice to the Energy, Strategy, Sales, and Acquisition teams within the Commercial division. • Preparing transactional documentation, such as contracts, options, leases, easements, licenses, and closing documents. • Engaging with external solicitor firms during property transactions. • Addressing ad hoc queries of a legal, quasi-legal, or regulatory nature. • Supporting the broader Land Solutions team. • Advising on a full range of commercial, property title, and conveyancing issues, including title due diligence. • Handling the registration and record-keeping of all property transactions. • Collaborating with the Title Researcher to maintain up-to-date estate records. • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. • Providing legal and regulatory advice, as well as guidance on company law and governance. • Supporting the organization in delivering its overall commercial strategy. **Behavioral Competencies:** • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide practical, timely advice. • Customer Focus: A common-sense approach with the ability to understand and prioritize customer needs. • Innovation: Open to new approaches with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within the Commercial Team and collaborate across Land Solutions. • Attention to Detail: High level of diligence and care in all aspects of work. • Results Driven: A proactive attitude with a focus on exceeding goals, meeting deadlines, and achieving high performance. **Desired Technical/Professional Competencies:** • Qualified Solicitor with 2 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, either in a law firm or in-house. • Experience in Property and Conveyancing. • Experience in Renewable Energy is an advantage. • Experience in Commercial matters is also an advantage. **Company Values:** • Respect • Simplicity • Empowerment • Outward Looking • Responsible Morgan McKinley is a leading recruitment agency, acting as an Employment Agency.
