**Commercial & Conveyancing Solicitor** Summary: Experienced solicitor sought to handle commercial, conveyancing, and property transactions, providing timely and accurate legal advice to support the Land Solutions strategy. As a Conveyancing Solicitor within the Commercial Team, you will be responsible for handling commercial, conveyancing, property, energy, and land-related transactions, as well as providing general legal services to support and implement the Land Solutions strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** • Processing property acquisitions, sales, and transfers of land and property transactions • Providing timely and accurate legal advice to the Energy, Strategy, Sales, and Acquisition teams within the Commercial division • Preparing transactional documentation, such as contracts, options, leases, easements, licenses, and closing documents • Engaging with external solicitor firms during property transactions • Addressing ad hoc queries of a legal, quasi-legal, or regulatory nature • Supporting the broader Land Solutions team • Advising on a full range of commercial, property title, and conveyancing issues, including title due diligence • Handling the registration and record-keeping of all property transactions • Collaborating with the Title Researcher to maintain up-to-date estate records • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures • Providing legal and regulatory advice, as well as guidance on company law and governance • Supporting the organization in delivering its overall commercial strategy **Behavioral Competencies:** • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide practical, timely advice • Customer Focus: A common-sense approach with the ability to understand and prioritize customer needs • Innovation: Open to new approaches with strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within the Commercial Team and collaborate across Land Solutions • Attention to Detail: High level of diligence and care in all aspects of work • Results Driven: A proactive attitude with a focus on exceeding goals, meeting deadlines, and achieving high performance **Desired Technical/Professional Competencies:** • Qualified Solicitor with 2 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, either in a law firm or in-house • Experience in Property and Conveyancing • Experience in Renewable Energy is an advantage • Experience in Commercial matters is also an advantage **About Morgan McKinley:** Morgan McKinley is a leading recruitment agency with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality candidates to top organizations.
