Commercial & Conveyancing Solicitor

Seeking a qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years of experience in Property and Conveyancing to join our team in Limerick or Wicklow.

As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for handling commercial, conveyancing, property, energy, and land-related transactions, providing general legal services to support and implement the Land Solutions strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing property acquisitions, sales, and transfers of land and property transactions.
  • Providing timely and accurate legal advice to the Energy, Strategy, Sales, and Acquisition teams within the Commercial division.
  • Preparing transactional documentation, such as contracts, options, leases, easements, licenses, and closing documents.
  • Engaging with external solicitor firms during property transactions.
  • Addressing ad hoc queries of a legal, quasi-legal, or regulatory nature.
  • Supporting the broader Land Solutions team.
  • Advising on a full range of commercial, property title, and conveyancing issues, including title due diligence.
  • Handling the registration and record-keeping of all property transactions.
  • Collaborating with the Title Researcher to maintain up-to-date estate records.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Providing legal and regulatory advice, as well as guidance on company law and governance.
  • Supporting the organization in delivering its overall commercial strategy.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, either in a law firm or in-house.
  • Experience in Property and Conveyancing.
  • Experience in Renewable Energy is an advantage.
  • Experience in Commercial matters is also an advantage.
