Job Description

Seeking a results-driven Chief Operating Officer to provide operational, leadership, and financial oversight, driving sustainable growth, and implementing efficiencies across a Munster-based organisation with a hybrid-working model. Key responsibilities include operational management, risk management, leadership, financial oversight, and performance monitoring. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in similar roles, with expertise in data-driven approaches, commercial acumen, and stakeholder relationship development. Essential skills and competencies include experience in professional services, project management, and a genuine desire to up-skill in procurement and tendering processes. The ideal candidate will possess superb stakeholder relationship development and management skills, a proven ability to positively influence and bring people on a change journey, and a record of maximising technological developments, financial performance, and efficiency within an organisation. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, self-motivated, commercial, and solutions-focused with exceptional organisational skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a strong attention to detail. Key areas of responsibility include operational management, risk management, leadership and team management, financial oversight, performance monitoring, strategic planning, stakeholder communication, innovation and improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of delivering in similar roles and at a similar level, with experience in prior professional services firm experience and/or project management or similar qualifications, a proven record adopting a data-based, purposeful approach with tangible benefits, experience operating in a KPI environment, and a genuine desire to up-skill in procurement and tendering processes. The ideal candidate will hold a proven senior leadership and performance management support record, including at senior executive level, with a proven ability to positively influence and bring people on a change journey, and a record of maximising technological developments, financial performance, and efficiency within an organisation.
