Senior Consultant (Senior Account Manager) Job Description

Teneo Ireland is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join its team as a Senior Consultant (Senior Account Manager) in Corporate Reputation Advisory.

About the Role

  • Provide strategic counsel to clients and drive activity across account teams.
  • Develop communications solutions, plans, and campaigns to enhance corporate reputation and deliver client business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Teneo clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of clients and their respective sectors.
  • Stay informed of key business and political developments in Ireland and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective media engagement strategies and plans for clients.
  • Craft written communication materials for clients to an excellent standard.
  • Oversee high-quality reporting to demonstrate the value and impact of results.
  • Contribute to new business development and pitches.
  • Be a proactive, supportive, and encouraging role model for colleagues, clients, and yourself.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a corporate communications role with significant consultancy sector experience.
  • Excellent communications (oral and written) & presenting skills.
  • Knowledgeable of and adept at working with media - experience and connectivity with media in Ireland is essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client, colleague, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to learn at pace and become a subject matter expert.
