Strategic Business Analyst sought for a leading Life Insurance Group in Dublin City, to drive strategic insights and impactful decisions.

Our client, a leading Life Insurance Group, is seeking an experienced Strategic Business Analyst to join their growing team. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Programmes, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the organisation at its highest levels.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong project management expertise, sharp analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and structure strategies across the organisation.
  • Conduct primary research on topics of strategic importance to the company.
  • Own the reporting of strategy programs to senior leadership, gathering input from various business areas and addressing key strategic and business questions.
  • Synthesise existing strategic research into actionable insights for management.
  • Enhance senior leadership's understanding of key external and internal trends that impact business performance and strategy.
  • Take full end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of projects, including management of project budgets and deliverables.
  • Manage stakeholders, including at a senior level and with certain external partners.
  • Provide external perspectives and support to business units in tackling strategic and business challenges.

Your Key Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years corporate strategy or management consulting experience.
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects across various system platforms.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to persuade and guide stakeholders, build consensus, and drive decision-making in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks within tight deadlines and to coordinate cross-team collaboration.
