Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries related to manufacturing accounting to support accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare account reconciliations to ensure proper balance sheet valuation
- Margin variance analysis
- Monitor variances to standard cost and investigate significant differences
- Calculate standard costing of products in SAP
- Drive consistency and standardisation of cost accounting
- Finance lead on process improvement projects related to costing of materials
- Provide finance guidance aligned to the preparation of customer pricing simulations, financial analysis and modelling
Key Skills required:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner across the business
