Are you a Cost Engineer with 6+ years experience working on projects in the Life Sciences, Bio-Pharma sectors?Are you interested in a long term contract role (min 12 months) based in Waterford?Cost Engineer - Pharma - WaterfordJob DescriptionOur Client is one of Ireland's leading cost management consultancies working in the Pharma and Biotech sectors.They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Cost Engineer to work on a Waterford based Pharma site.You will work with a multi-disciplined capital projects team, implementing and evaluating earned value on projects to track progress.Proactively monitoring and communicating budget, actual status, and forecast costs for projects.Creating client and internal status reports that effectively communicate cost status.Use analytical thinking ability to assist the team to develop accurate and timely estimates on a monthly basis.Specific experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis, and variance analysis.Experience with work breakdown structures and resolving financial issues.Reviews data to assist in forecasting projects to completion.Consult with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and resolve issues.RequirementsDegree in finance/accounting, quantity surveying or engineering.Min 6+ years experience in Cost Engineering/Project Controls on Bio/Pharma Projects.Advanced Excel and/or Power BI skills.PackageCompetitive hourly rates - negotiable dependent on experience.Long term contract min 12 months.Flexible working options WFH / Site based (min 2 days per week on site).ContactLizella Fernandes is the consultant managing this position.If you are a Cost Engineer interested in roles based in Waterford, you can contact Lizella by e-mail at lizella@jobcontax.com or phone +353-1-9696683 for a confidential chat.JobContax do not send CVs to clients without candidate permission. #J-18808-Ljbffr
