Job Description
As a Construction Cost Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced teams to deliver complex projects in the French construction sector using the latest methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage client budgets and expenditure, with support from internal teams and clients.
- Develop estimates and cost plans for key client developments, covering all construction project costs.
- Support project management and decision-making through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
- Participate in the tender/bid process, from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
- Oversee project spend, creating valuations and cost reports, and communicate variations to the team.
- Support the settlement of construction disputes and loss and expense claims with transparency.
- Resolve commercial, change orders, and contract issues quickly and fairly.
- Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken.
Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in pre- and/or post-contract cost management on varied projects.
- Degree in a cost management or construction discipline, or strong experience.
- Knowledge or previous work experience relating to MEP trades (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
- Chartered or seeking chartership.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in both English and French languages.
- Happy to travel for short periods to meet with clients, partners, and team.
