Job Description

Maximise budget performance across £85m+, influencing senior stakeholders and managing operational areas of brand & marketing, Primark Cares, and Innovation & Insights teams. Collaborate with Finance, Customer & Brand & Digital Marketing, and own the end-to-end budget submission to Finance each FY. Provide key justification for spend against forecast in line with Primark's accounting calendar. The selected candidate will have over 10+ years experience handling significant budget amounts in a global retailer or similar, with high level of commercial and financial expertise and ability to formulate and clearly communicate analysis, insight and recommendations for future strategies. Proven ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders within a strategic, commercial context. Good communication skills, ability to structure and present a compelling story and inform senior stakeholders. Experience in a fast-paced finance team, preferably in retail/FMCG, is required.
