Tutor for Payroll and Business Administration Course

The Rehab Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced tutor to deliver training and assessments for learners in payroll and business administration.

  • Job Title: Course Tutor - Payroll and Business Administration
  • Term: 22 weeks Fixed Term Contract
  • Location: Letterkenny
  • Hours: 36 hours per week

The successful candidate will be responsible for training and developing learners based on agreed program specifications, managing daily aspects of the program, sourcing work placements, and supporting learners during their placements by closely working with employers.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver systematic training according to the curriculum and maintain accurate records of learners' progress.
  • Source and support work placements, working closely with employers to ensure learner development.
  • Evaluate learner needs and create individual progression plans, providing regular feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, maintaining records and producing necessary reports.
  • Meet KPIs related to learner progression and certification, while working under the guidance of management and in collaboration with other team members and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess a business degree as a minimum requirement, experience delivering training and assessments for QQI Level 5 or higher in business-related subjects, and certified in training and continuing education (e.g., Train the Tutor Level 6) or an equivalent qualification.

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering training and assessments for QQI Level 5 or higher in business-related subjects.
  • Certified in training and continuing education (e.g., Train the Tutor Level 6) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working closely with employers to provide work placements and support learners.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a training environment effectively.
  • Ability to develop individual learning plans for learners to support their progression.
  • Ability to meet certification targets (KPIs).
  • Strong IT and report writing skills.
