Job Title: Credit Control Location: Kingscourt, Co Cavan ( Hybrid Options) Ref: S011595 Description of Role: Recruitment Pluson behalf of our clients based in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, we are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. This permanent role is commutable from Louth, Meath, and parts of Monaghan. Reporting to the Financial Controller the Credit Controllerwill join a busy team and will be responsible for managing and collecting outstandingpaymentsfrom clients. They will communicate with clients to reconcile account balances and perform pre-sales credit risk evaluations and make recommendations for credit approvals for new accounts as well as assisting the finance team with accounts receivable. Requirements: Minimum of 2 - 3 years credit control experience Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Flexibility, ability to assist in other areas of the business if required Excellent communication skills - ability to build relationships with clients and request payment for outstanding balances . Key Duties & Responsibilities: Investigate, evaluate, and follow up on overdue accounts, contact customers to discuss collection arrangements and to obtain information needed to make informed credit decisions Analyse orders for release of hold, notify customers of order status Work within established guidelines in approving credit limits Assess credit risk Respond to enquiries regarding credit references and customer issues Communicate with reps on queried invoices and prices For more information please send your CV to Bernie in confidence through the link.
