The CSA Lead Estimator will be responsible for the preparation of an accurate, detailed Civil structural and architectural estimate from start to finish with assistance from the pre-construction team.

The Lead Estimator will:

  • Prepare a Bill of Quantities using 2D drawings, and/or BIM models.
  • Engage with the supply chain locally to obtain sub-contractor quotes/current market rates for incorporation into each tender.
  • Produce an accurate, fully priced bid including a BQ encapsulating all works required by the Employers Requirements, as well as the current market rates at that point in time, for presentation to the Group CSA Estimation Manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying
  • 7+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying/Estimating role
  • Data centre CSA commercial experience required
  • A proven track record tendering on projects over €40-50+m

This role will suit an ambitious Estimator seeking to progress their career, or a QS looking to broaden their experience in a large pre-construction team from either a PQS or Contractor background. This role will also make further education a priority for those candidates wishing to develop their academic qualifications. Mercury will provide support in this regard.
