CTO (Chief Technology Officer)
CTO (Chief Technology Officer) opportunity with well-funded, fast growing scaleup business. This company is the market leader in their industry niche, and building fast to cement that position and to capitalize on a new, growing market.
You will be joining as their first CTO, to take ownership of driving technology strategy, building a team, and leading the delivery of all technology solutions. Hardware & Software are both key parts of their product and service offering, and your role will encompass both external and internal facing technology solutions.
The company have built an experienced, high calibre leadership team to drive the business forward. This is a unique opportunity to go on an exciting journey with a genuinely ambitious company, building a market leading business in a new and growing industry niche.
The company is growing fast, and the technology team operates in a fast-paced, highly dynamic fashion. They are looking to hire an innovative, forward thinking Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who can make key strategic decisions on technology and architecture to set them up for long term scaling. Their approach to date has largely been to Buy versus to Build.
This opportunity will ideally suit a Chief Technology Officer with strong experience in both hardware and software, excellent people leadership skills and a track record of owning and executing on technology strategies.

Skills / experience:
- Strong experience as a senior leader of technology teams (Chief Technology Officer, Head of Technology or similar)
- Excellent people leader
- Track record of owning and executing on technology strategy
- Experience in hardware as well as software (telecoms, energy sectors for example)
