Technical Account Manager / Customer Account Manager role in a leading company in the Letterkenny area, responsible for developing sales opportunities, managing relationships with key accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role is 39 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that allows employees to start at 7am if they want to finish at 3:30pm Mon-Thurs. The department is hybrid, with 3 days on site and 2 days from home (Monday & Friday).
Key responsibilities:
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
- Solicit new accounts, build rapport, provide technical information and explanations to customers
- Prepare quotations and lead follow-up
- Manage relationships with key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction at all levels
- Develop and maintain contacts in the customer and manufacturing communities
- Develop/review price quotes, negotiate contracts and review sales agreements with business customers
- Troubleshoot/resolve customer complaints and issues, following-up as required
- Develop accounts by checking customers' buying history, suggesting related and new products or applications and explaining technical features
- Coordinate on-site sales calls with outside sales reps, conduct sales 'cold calls' on prospective new customers and undertake account follow-up calls
- Work closely with other departments, including Business Development Managers, Quality, Production and materials, to ensure delivery of exceptional customer service
- Grow sales through activity, responsiveness and professionalism
