Customer Delivery Drivers are sought to provide an excellent home shopping experience by putting customers at the heart of everything they do.

About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be the first face our customers see, delivering to their homes and providing a personal touch. The role is hands-on, physical, and full of variety, with no two shifts ever the same.

• Provide an excellent home shopping experience by putting customers at the heart of everything you do.
• Load the van where required and check it for roadworthiness.
• Understand the schedule and route calculated for you.
• Look the part in your uniform, ready to help customers.
• Drive safely, responsibly, and within the law.
• Be courteous to all road users.
• Serve customers with a smile and greet them by name.
• Take care of customers' deliveries as if they were your own.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure the van is roadworthy and loaded correctly.
• Follow the scheduled route and delivery plan.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take care of customers' deliveries and resolve any issues.

Requirements

• Hold a full Irish or EU driving licence (manual or automatic) for at least 2 years with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Be a safe and courteous driver.
• Enjoy helping others.
• Be personable with a good sense of humor and excellent communication skills.
• Have the ability to take the initiative and use common sense.
• Care about making a difference for customers and colleagues.
• Be able to stay calm under pressure.
