Job Description
Dunnes Stores, Ireland's leading retailer, is seeking a skilled Solution Architect to drive the modernisation of its business capabilities and technology landscape.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of defining and implementing e-commerce solutions, with experience working with UX design teams and designing integrations in complex environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Product Management to understand product roadmaps and functional requirements
- Defining non-functional requirements for security, performance, scalability, and resilience
- Developing high-level solution designs and presenting them to the Design Authority
- Working with engineering teams and external partners to develop low-level designs
- Overseeing the delivery lifecycle and managing external partners
- Creating and maintaining robust documentation
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and relevant work experience. They will also have architecture-related certificates and experience working with Microsoft stack and Azure.
