Job Description

We are seeking a Collections Advisor to join our team, providing excellent customer service and resolving customer issues in a fast-paced environment.

As a Collections Advisor, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to customers, contacting customers with outstanding debt, and assisting customers in getting back on track with their payments. You will also be responsible for setting up payment plans, setting up Direct Debits, taking payments from customers, and explaining debt to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to customers
  • Contact customers with outstanding debt

  • Explain debt to customers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a similar environment and ideally within a customer collections role
  • Able to work comfortably to targets
  • Being highly methodical with a thorough attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with all callers
  • Having excellent organisational skills
  • Having the ability to work to stringent customer service SLA's and KPI's
  • Showing excellent PC and data entry skills with the ability to use multiple systems at any one time
  • Bringing a proactive attitude with the ability and ambition to develop role in the future
