Customer Solutions Engineer (Lifts) Postuler Locations: Dublin Time Type: Temps plein Posted on: Offre publiée aujourd'hui Job Requisition ID: R0641412 Purpose The Customer Solutions Engineer performs site surveys, interacts with customers (both external and internal), reads and analyses consultant’s specifications, proposes engineering solutions, interacts with suppliers (both external and internal), and calculates prices for the proposed solution. This position is based in our Dublin Office and requires travel to sites throughout Ireland (North and South). Key focus areas include providing sales, engineering, and customer support during tendering, order handling, and project delivery phases. The core elements of the job are completing surveys, engineering, and costing work. Key Responsibilities Provides technical consultancy to Sales and Customers. Participates in customer meetings as CSE (Customer Solutions Engineer) representative, impacting customer specifications and understanding customer needs. Participates in pre-tender reviews and order booking reviews to ensure solutions meet customer, quality, safety, and compliance requirements. Understands total costing and plans for cost-effective solutions. Ensures compliant deployment of engineering policy, local codes, and standards. Ensures safe customer solutions. Provides high-quality inputs for Sourcing and Supply Line. Provides solutions considering full lifecycle management; installability and maintainability are considered. Provides technical and engineering support for sales teams and engineering departments in business fields of FRB (full replacement) & MOD (modernization) covering Ireland (North and South). Completes site surveys. Provides detailed pricing (using KONE global tools as well as locally developed tools). Provides detailed engineering calculations and drawings. Reviews customer specifications and requirements; assists the sales team with understanding the requirements and clarifying any ambiguities. Attends customer meetings and discussions. Liaises with both internal and supply line experts, external suppliers, and subcontractors. Skills & Experience Ideally from a lift industry background with a technical qualification. Construction industry knowledge is essential. Prior working experience in customer solutions engineering is desirable. Technical or engineering background is desirable. Be customer-focused, understanding the needs of customers and the importance of providing solutions to satisfy short and long-term objectives. Ability to work effectively in a highly complex, diverse, changing environment. Good communication skills, both written and spoken English. Microsoft Office: Excel, Word experience. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Site surveying experience. Pricing and estimating experience. Understanding of lift industry codes and standards is desirable, but not essential.
