Job Description
Job Summary: Customer service advisors link workshop technicians and customers during service visits, providing knowledge and customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment. They perform key roles as advisors to customers regarding vehicle care and maintenance in accordance with BMW specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact with customers, seeking to convert enquiries to service bookings.
- Meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inspect vehicles and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify service needs.
- Record customer details, clarify payment options, and confirm pickup times.
- Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories by understanding vehicle and service requirements.
- Identify and communicate with the sales department prospective new/used car sales prospects.
- Check on progress of services and contact customers regarding changes in cost-estimates or delivery times.
- Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with BMW warranty guidelines.
- Deliver customer satisfaction scores in line with BMW and Frank Keane Group standards.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills, professional appearance, and work ethic.
- Experience as a service advisor in the motor industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Full clean driver's license.
- Knowledge of CDK/Kerridge is an advantage, as is technical understanding of vehicles.
- Resident in Ireland.
- Able to work a 40-hour week.
