Job Description

We are recruiting a part time (2-3 days per week, to be agreed with reporting manager) Customer Support Manager/Office Manager to work as part of our small and growing team. The role is a part-time role and can be hybrid (Fermoy, Cork), depending on the candidate’s circumstances. The role is an important interface role with our customers and team and includes several critical tasks: Customer Support Assessing inbound enquiries to the business and entering relevant information to the company CRM. Managing the customer process from generating Quotations, receipt of Purchase Orders, sending of Invoice and logging/recording any interim communications with the customer. Coordinating shipping of items to and from customer sites to the relevant SeqBiome office/laboratory. Handling Customer communications and appropriately documenting and taking responsibility for timely responses. Office Management Raising Purchase Orders for vendors, paying vendor invoices, and entering the relevant data on company systems. Reconciling amounts outstanding and providing lists of relevant payments for authorisation. Implementing and managing admin processes, e.g., employee expense claims process. Supporting finance function, providing relevant information for the preparation of management accounts. Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have experience in small business and understand the culture and needs of working in small, but dispersed teams, ideally in the Health/Lifesciences sector. Customer support experience and managing CRM workflows is beneficial. Understanding of basic accounting/bookkeeping practices. Training and induction will be provided. Candidates should have the following skills and experience Strong customer service skills and experience Experience of office administration in an environment using IT systems including MS word and Excel. Self-motivated and willing to learn. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Ability to work on their own initiative as part of a small team. Experience working with online accounts package is desirable.
