Job Description

Seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to contribute to maintaining and improving the organisation's cyber security posture, with a focus on IT risk management and threat response.

This role will be part of a small dedicated cyber security team, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine the Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Identify and collect data to support security-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Evaluate and manage IT risks, including cybersecurity threats and data privacy issues.
  • Support the Cyber Security review process by tracking, monitoring, and reporting on progress.
  • Oversee Threat and Vulnerability Management and penetration testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with planning and delivery of technology projects.
  • Liaise with the Security Operating Centre to respond to security incidents and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in IT security roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and self-motivated to deliver high-quality work.
  • Stakeholder Management, with strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, Active Directory & EDR tools.
  • Exposure to M365 & Azure.
  • Relevant certifications are desirable (but experience > certification).
