Seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to act as SME for information security aspects of Saa S platform, ensuring security controls are implemented and contributing to security-related policies.
My client, a global software company, is looking for a talented Cyber Security Engineer to join their team.

The Role
- Act as SME for all information security aspects of the Saa S platform.
- Partner closely with other Saa S Operations teams to ensure security controls are implemented.
- Partake in responding to customer information-security questionnaires.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of security-related policies/standard operating procedures.
- Own the development and maintenance of security tools.
- Partake in incident management and root cause analysis exercises.
- Partner with Operations and Development teams to architect solutions optimized per security best practices.
- Keep up to date with emerging threats and trends within the Cyber Security space.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in a computing or engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in a Cyber Security Engineer capacity.
- Strong experience across Windows environment.
- Experience with at least one of the following: Palo Alto, VMware, Intune, Microsoft Defender.
- Experience supporting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, IAM, and SIEM tools.
- Extensive knowledge of technologies such as Kali Linux, endpoint protection and detection, IDS and IPS tools, and vulnerability scanning tools, malware detection and prevention.
- Knowledge of the CIS security standards.
- Solid understanding and experience with AWS services and cloud operation concepts.
- Experience with SOC frameworks.
- Certifications in Cyber Security.
- Strong attention to detail.
Bonus but not Essential
- Familiarity with Dev Ops/Cloud technologies – Azure, Kubernetes.
- Agile/Kanban methodology.
- Ability to positively impact team members and communicate openly and directly to individuals or groups at all levels.
