**Data Analysis Principal, Trust and Safety** Protect users and partners from abuse across Google products, using technical know-how, problem-solving skills, and proactive communication to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases. **Job Description** We are seeking a Data Analysis Principal to join our Trust and Safety team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for leading high-impact projects that build critical trust protections into Google News and third-party content ecosystems. **Responsibilities** * Lead multi-quarter projects to build trust protections into Google News and third-party content ecosystems * Collaborate with Product, Policy, Legal, and Engineering teams to develop solutions that set the industry standard for user safety * Investigate trust issues specific to news and content surfaces, providing valuable insights and data-driven analysis to inform decision-making for the product * Identify and address product vulnerabilities, improve our systems to combat evolving abuse trends * Embrace technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance our ability to fight abuse and misinformation at scale * Work with sensitive content or situations and be exposed to graphic, controversial, or upsetting topics or content **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience * 7 years of experience in one or more of the following: Data Analytics, Trust and Safety, Policy, Cybersecurity, or a related field * Experience using statistical analysis and hypothesis testing * Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment * Excellent written/verbal communication skills to clearly communicate technical concepts with multiple cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders **About the Company** Google is a global company that is committed to building a workforce that is representative of the users we serve.
