As a Principal Data Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced reporting, analytic approaches, and tooling. You'll work closely with other leaders to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of data and business processes associated with Chart Review, Targeting Analytics, and Risk Adjustment
- Serve as a subject matter expert on chart targeting for the broader organization and participate in creating integrated solutions
- Research and develop innovative analytics and business processes to generate value for Optum and our clients
- Be a hands-on data expert, analyze, and provide solutions to complex operations and data problems
- Drive short-term and long-term strategies for targeting analytics, chart review business process, and data operations
Requirements
- Undergraduate or above in an engineering or other quantitative field
- Experience in a healthcare organization, in a progressive, data-centric role
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex conversations, presenting, and driving decisions on complex business or data problems
- Experience driving business and data solutions in a complex data environment
