About the Role
Optum, a global healthcare company, is seeking a highly skilled Director of Data Analytics to lead a team responsible for managing network pharmacy pricing guarantees. As a key member of our team, you will deliver financial modeling and analytics to drive business decisions and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of pricing analysts to manage day-to-day pricing and pharmacy performance tracking and analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to drive business insights and inform pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate analytics and business information into modeling and pricing decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on emerging risks and trends.
- Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure appropriate application of contractual and regulatory obligations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in data analytics, finance, or pricing roles.
- Strong SQL and/or Python skills, with ability to perform complex querying.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Experience leading a team of data analysts.
- Experience in managed healthcare or pharmacy benefit management.
