About the Role

As a Director of Data Analytics, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions with data-driven insights. You will lead a high-performing team of data analysts, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and develop a data transformation strategy to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and implement operational objectives, fostering a positive working environment
- Take an entrepreneurial approach to road mapping data insights and analytics capabilities
- Develop a data transformation strategy to support business decisions and build a workplan that includes people, processes, and technology
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, manage relationships, and develop product vision and data strategy
- Build a new team to support data solutions for business and customers
- Make decisions to drive day-to-day productivity and success, owning analytics success and moving up the value chain of data
- Create a vision with data solutions to lead data services beyond industry standards
- Grow a dedicated data analyst business and meet contractual obligations for business consulting
- Gain technical and business knowledge of pharmacy network product portfolios
- Build core foundational data, streamline existing data sources, and provide one version of the truth
- Responsible for data architecture in a changing market, supporting future cloud data architecture
- Contribute to the development of the wider data team's future by building our brand, attending relevant events, collaborating with other internal teams, producing thought leadership, etc.
- Drive strategic data transformation projects across the organization
Requirements
- Proven data analytics experience (either as a data analyst, data scientist, or other similar role)
- Previous experience leading a team of direct reports
- Proven experience in a similar leadership position leading data teams in a cross-functional capacity
- Proven track record in developing transformation strategies, data product management, driving change management, identifying, and driving innovation, or related functions
- Strong communication skills and experience communicating at leadership levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification in agile/lean methodologies
- Experience in cloud technologies and data frameworks
- Strong background in data governance and regulations
- Trained and experienced in process improvement and change management methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent degree from a reputable university
