About the Role
Optum, a global healthcare company, is seeking a Director of Data Analytics to lead a team responsible for managing network pharmacy pricing guarantees. The successful candidate will deliver financial modeling and analytics to drive business decisions, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and ensure alignment with pharmacy contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of pricing analysts to manage day-to-day pricing and pharmacy performance tracking and analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to drive business decisions and ensure optimal pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate insights and analytics into pricing decisions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership and stakeholders on emerging risks and trends.
- Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in data analytics, finance, or pricing roles.
- Strong SQL and/or Python skills, with ability to perform complex querying and data analysis.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, with experience in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as finance, accounting, mathematics, or engineering.
- Experience leading a team of data analysts.
- Experience in managed healthcare or pharmacy benefit management.
- Experience creating visualizations using Tableau or similar tools.
