About the Director – Data Analytics role:

This is a leadership position that will take an entrepreneurial approach to driving the business up the value chain of data. The successful candidate will own the foundational descriptive and diagnostic analytics and drive innovation with predictive and prescriptive capabilities. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders on how data can enhance product offerings of the future.

The Director – Data Analytics will be responsible for building a high-performing team of Data Analysts to identify, prioritize and create reports to meet internal and external customer requirements. Regular meetings with product managers, product owners, enterprise architects, Workforce Management, Finance, Global Human Capital Partners, Talent Acquisition, Technology and Business Leadership will be a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and implement operational and company objectives, fostering a positive working environment
  • Take an entrepreneurial approach to road mapping where Data Insights can go with Analytics capabilities
  • Develop a Data Transformation Strategy to support business decisions, and build a workplan that includes people, processes
  • Engage with Internal & external stakeholders, manage relationships, develop product vision and data strategy
  • Responsible for building a new team to support Data solutions for Business & customers
  • Make decisions to drive day-to-day productivity and success. Own Analytics success moving up the Value chain of data
  • Create a vision with Data Solutions to lead Data Services beyond industry standards
  • Grows Dedicated Data Analyst business and meets contractual obligations for business consulting
  • Gain technical and business knowledge of Pharmacy Network Product Portfolio
  • Build core foundational data. Streamline existing data sources, provide one version of the truth
  • Responsible for data architecture in a changing market, support future cloud data architecture
  • Contribute to the development of the wider Data team's future by building our brand, attending relevant events, collaborating with other internal teams, producing thought leadership, etc
  • Drive strategic data transformation projects across the organization

Requirements

  • Proven Data Analytics Experience (either as a data analyst, data scientist or other similar role)
  • Previous experience leading a team of direct reports
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership position-leading data teams in a cross-functional capacity
  • Proven track record in developing Transformation Strategy, Data Product Management, driving Change Management, identifying, and driving Innovation, or related functions
  • Strong communication skills and experience communicating at Leadership levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualification in agile/lean methodologies
  • Experience in cloud technologies and data frameworks
  • Strong background of data governance and regulations
  • Trained and experienced in process improvement and change management methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent degree from reputed university
